Let 'Em Know You're There

Let 'Em Know You're There

A recipient of a 2017 Austin Film Society Grant and winner of the Best Short Documentary award at the 2018 Deep in the Heart Film Festival, Let 'Em Know You're There tells the story of Jim Tucker, a former NBA player who has held the record for fastest triple-double for the past 60 years. Featuring animations that depicts a vibrant, unforgettable evening in the 1950s, the film uses Jim's record as a lens into a remarkable life outside of basketball and his current battle with Alzheimer's.  Made in partnership with the Onondaga Historical Association This fall, the film will be airing regionally on PBS stations as an advocacy tool for Alzheimer's and caretaker awareness, before a larger national release, which is planned for 2019.  Please contact us if you'd like to schedule an event in your community.
